General Practitioner (GP)
- Dr. Sarah Jarvis, MBE, General Practitioner (GP), GP Trainer and Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
- She trained at Cambridge and Oxford Universities and become a Partner in an Inner City General Practice in 1990. She was a GP Trainer for 25 Years Until 2017. She is an Active Medical Writer and Broadcaster and is the Resident Doctor for BBC Radio 2, The One Show on BBC One and Channel 5. She also Appears Regularly on UK Television and Radio Programmes including Good Morning Britain, ITN Lunchtime News, LBC, and Radio 5 Live.
- Dr. Sarah Jarvis has had an Interest in Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease for Over 20 Years. She is past Chair of Health Care Committee of Heart UK, The Cholesterol Charity, and is a Member for the Advisory Board for British Journal of Cardiology.
- She was Appointed an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the New Year's Honours List in December 2017 For Services to Public Understanding of Health and General Practice.
- In 2021, She was Appointed Visiting Professor of General, Practice at the University of Huddersfield.
